  • What is a ghost tour?
A ghost tour is a guided walking experience through historic parts of town where you'll hear eerie tales, urban legends, and true accounts of the unexplained. It's a mix of storytelling, history, and just the right amount of spooky fun—maybe a jump scare, some goosebumps and good times!
  • How long is the tour?
The tour lasts approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the group size and pace. The walk itself is approximately 1.5 miles long.
  • Is the tour kid-friendly?
Our ghost tour is family-friendly, but it may not be suitable for all ages. While we focus on history and storytelling rather than jump scares, some of the tales involve eerie legends, haunted locations, and historical tragedies that could be unsettling for younger children. We leave it up to parents to decide what’s best for their little ones—if your child enjoys ghost stories and a bit of spooky fun, they may love it! However, if they’re easily frightened, it might be best to sit this one out.
  • What should I bring?
We recommend comfortable walking shoes, a flashlight (but please refrain from shining at private residences!), weather-appropriate clothing, and a camera to capture any ghostly encounters! Also - an empty bladder! There are no established bathroom breaks along the tour.
  • Do I need to sign a waiver?
Yes, for safety and liability reasons, all participants must sign a waiver before the tour begins. Aka, we cannot be held responsible if you get so frightened you run off down a dark alleyway never to be seen again.
  • What happens if it rains?
Tours are held rain or shine, so please dress accordingly. In the case of extreme weather, we will notify you of any changes.
  • Are private ghost tours available?
Yes, we're here for all the nightlife fun! Please email us at boo@stgeorgeghosttours.com to inquire about the details. We can customize to your needs! Want to do an exclusive tour for your birthday? Want to do a bachelor or bachelorette kind of "Spirits" Crawl themed night with drinks? Let us know, we got you covered!
  • How much is the tour?
Tour fees are $25 per adult, $15 for children (13 and under), and free for children 2 and under. This does not include gratuities for your guide.
  • Do we go in any buildings?
No, we will be outside walking around for the entire tour. St. George's historic downtown offers plenty to see without ever going into any establishments or residences.
